- Camera - We learnt the main features (how to record) and functions (focus, zoom) and how to use it effectively.
- Final Cut Pro - Editing program that we used to edit and put together our thriller video.
- Soundtrack Pro - Sound editing program that we used to produce our music for our thriller video.
- Livetype - Text editing program we used to create our thriller title and credits.
- Handbrake - A program that converts almost anything, but we only used it to convert our videos so we could upload them Blogger.
- Screenshot (Mac: CMD + SHIFT + 4) - The best idea ever, also enabled us to put up evidence of our work on our blogs
- Prezie - A web based presentation program that is very easy to use and actually quite fun.
- Wordle - A web based program that enables you to create a poster based on words. We used it as a way to advertise our feedback for our thriller video.
