Analysis Of Three Digipaks That Relate To My Genre: RESEARCH

Here is Eliza Doolittle's digipak. It is quiet loud and colourful which i like because it has a connection with all her songs on this album as well as her personality. The images used are the appropriate shape and size to fit the CD. It is clear that much detail and planning went into this regarding the font and text, it was clearly designed to stun the audience.

This is Katy Perry's digipak. Like Eliza's its bold and loud that it deliberately wanting a response from the audience. It again reflects Katy's personality and the song "California girls". I like how the two Cd's look, the patterns that are on them. For my own artists digipak i was thinking of doing something like this one, where one image is crossed across two pages, i think it works really well.

The Saturdays - Headlines! album. The Saturdays album cover includes a picture of the band with the name of the band in neon lights above the picture. These features are common within the Pop genre. The name of the album 'Headlines!' is shown on the band's magazine covers. The album cover is also very colourful and eye catching.

All of these artist relate to my genre because they all pop related and are all women. They also relate to my genre because even though these are all women artists, they don't just appeal to one type of audience, they appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds.
