Analysis of original video and how ours will differ: PLANNING

“Who’d have known” by Lily Allen, is basically about her having an obsession with Elton John. She made the video because at the time they were both in some sort of fued and usually when she has some sort of arguement with a famous person she then makes a song about them.
Our video will be different because we won’t have the same idea as she had, the whole idea of making a video about another person etc. Our video has elements of disjuncter as the video won’t really relate to the lyrics but it will have some sort of naarative. Our main theme is lonliness changing into happiness but still not quiet finding the happiness needed to actually be content.
The video will also be different in terms of locations and misce en scene as our main locations are Barbican, Old Street, Dalston and Islington. We have chosen these locations because the specific places within these areas portray our video the most as they all have an element of lonliess which is the main theme for our video. The misce en scene for our video is going to be simplistic but powerful at the same time. We arent going to use props such as phones because they’re not necissarily needed in order to make the narrative stand out.
